Final Year Project
Project Title
Perocar
Description
My aim for this project was to make public spaces, especially shopping malls, more accessible and convenient for people who are physically challenged. It is difficult for senior citizens, pregnant women, and people with disabilities to maneuver a shopping cart in a mall. Hence, this project developed an automated shopping cart that follows the user around. Through Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensor, the position of the user will always be conveyed to the cart. Moreover, this cart has the ability to avoid obstacles, maintain a straight direction, and has a load affordability of up to 5 kilograms.
